At The New Studio for the Visual Arts, students can explore a variety of artistic mediums.
Watercolor Painting Classes
Watercolor is loved for its luminous colors, fluid movement, and expressive qualities.
For beginners, watercolor classes introduce fundamental techniques such as brush control, color mixing, washes, and layering. More experienced painters can continue developing their skills while experimenting with new approaches and personal styles.
The studio offers beginner watercolor instruction as well as opportunities for artists to expand their experience with water-based media.
Acrylic and Oil Painting Classes
If you enjoy working with vibrant colors and expressive brushstrokes, acrylic painting might be the perfect medium to explore.
Acrylics offer versatility, allowing artists to experiment with everything from delicate layers to bold, textured compositions.
Oil painting provides another creative experience, with rich colors and extended blending time that make it especially appealing for portraits, landscapes, and traditional painting techniques.
