Hi, my name is Jessica Nava, and I am the owner of Dulze Pastries bakery. I’ve always had a passion for cooking, but throughout the years I discovered the art of baking. It all started when I started making these delicious Peruvian cookies, also known Alfajores. I would make them for my family and friends and every time I would make them, they would ask me to sell them some so they could share with their loved ones. Since then, I’ve taken classes to learn more about cooking decorating and baking. Something that started as a hobby has developed into a business that I love. I hope to share my passion of baking with those that are eager to learn.

Dive into the colorful world of cookie decorating in this fun, beginner-friendly workshop led by Jessica Nava. Whether you're brand new to royal icing or looking to sharpen your skills, this class focuses on the essential techniques that build confidence for any cookie artist.
Students will decorate a beautiful 5-cookie mermaid-themed set while learning the foundations of working with royal icing. Jessica will guide you through preparing icing, understanding piping and flood consistencies, coloring icing, and creating multiple shades from a single color to add depth and dimension to your designs.
By the end of class, you'll leave with a stunning set of cookies and the knowledge to continue decorating at home.

No prior experience is necessary. All cookies, icing, decorating supplies, and tools needed during class are provided.
