About Cherie Blickenstaff in her own words: “Years ago, I made my living as an artist, creating artwork, participating in Florida outdoor art show, and licensing my artwork to various reproduction companies. Then life got in the way, and I had to get “a real job”. For 20 years+ I worked behind a desk instead of an easel. I enjoyed it but with a degree in fine art, making PowerPoint charts was not my idea of being creative. Now that I have retired, I have gotten back in touch with my creative self. For the past several years I have been creating, doing shows again and teaching art classes. I enjoy sharing my skills and knowledge, especially with those who maybe thought they could never paint.”

Paint The Elements
Join us for a guided paint-along class where you'll master the fundamentals of landscape painting by focusing on three essential elements: sky, water, and land. Using three small canvases that form a cohesive scene when completed, you'll learn to create simple yet stunning clouds, the ocean with gentle waves, and a serene beach adorned with sea oats. This workshop will cover key techniques such as blending, dry-brushing, and layering to help you bring your artistic vision to life.
All supplies will be provided, so just bring your creativity! Perfect for artists of all levels, this class will leave you with a beautiful triptych and valuable skills to enhance your painting practice.
