ABOUT YOUTH SUMMER SESSIONS
The New Studio for the Visual Arts is a fine art educational facility which offers a setting that is welcoming and supportive, creating an inclusive, multi-generational approach to art education. We are dedicated to the premise that the practice of looking at, thinking about, and making art helps human beings solve problems, build durable communities, and promote meaningful lives. The New Studio Summer Camp will allow students to engage in creative and challenging art projects that allow them to explore various media, supplies and techniques. All projects will revolve around a weekly theme to maintain a cohesive energy that opens the doors of curiosity, adventure, and exploration. Projects will involve painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, and upcycling as campers partake in the creative process. Our Youth Summer Sessions are for ages 7 -13.
