Let's Get Serious
Painting & Collage as an Expressive Medium

February 2, 9, 16 & 23, 2021

1:00pm - 3:00pm

Open to all mediums, as well as any painting support.  It is suggested that the participant gather a file of magazine and newspaper tears, fabric, color paper, or any materials that you find personally interesting for their color, texture or design. Printed copies, old photographs or any other realistic images may be used. Optional homework will be given after each session.  Subjects to be covered:

 

Lesson 1: Color & Texture as an expressive element.

Lesson 2: Central Figure as an expressive element.

Lesson 3: Text as an expressive element.

Lesson 4: Story segments as an expressive element.

All classes open to all levels of experience and mediums.
