CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP
October 19th & 26th
10:00am - 12:00 pm
Writing a memoir, short story and fiction
It should be easy to write the memoir or novel - the raw material – the experience of a lifetime - is familiar to us. Yet we must overcome the anxiety; will anyone will consider our work worth reading?
This workshop will explore the types of memoirs — coming of age, adversity, relationship, career, and travel - as well as help you develop techniques in writing your life experiences with the finesse and fascination of fiction. We will also work in other forms: fiction and non-fiction short and long form.
Class cost is $60 for two week workshop
