Capturing Flowers, Glass and Light

In this workshop Marla will explore the wonderful, unique qualities of watercolor, reinforcing techniques to allow the paints to do what they do best. During this paint along style of instruction, participants will work on capturing flowers, glass and light. Wet on wet technique will be experimented with to allow the paints to blend together on the paper. Underpainting, along with subsequent glazing and layering, will be demonstrated to achieve luminous results.

 

A photographic reference will be used and sent out ahead of time along with a supply list. 

There will be a one hour break for lunch starting at 12:00pm.

 

***Some watercolor experience is suggested.
