12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
1-Day Workshop $60
Jennifer will explain the steps on how to build an open or closed terrarium, depending on the class chosen. In this workshop, the students will learn which are the best plants suited for the glass container to create a thriving environment. Everyone will get a chance to choose their glass container out of an eclectic selection. Once they have chosen the container, they will each collect the materials needed to begin building the terrarium. There will be guided instructions and room for error. The idea is to have fun and enjoy the process. Each terrarium will have its own character and style depending on the amount of creativity and effort put into the plant's new home. Once it is built, we can then add a miniature to add some color or story to the terrarium.
The students will have a chance to take a group photo and share their creation. Everyone will take their project home. Jennifer will be passing out care tips for your terrarium so there is no confusion on how to care for your little slice of nature. Lastly but not least, there will be freshly baked cookies from the boutique available for purchase.
All supplies will be provided! Just bring an open mind and positive attitude.
