FUNDAMENTALS OF DIGITAL ARTS

This series teaches the fundamentals of a professional digital arts skill set. Great for students preparing for careers as Designers, Illustrators, and Animators. Students will learn the basics for creating digital artwork and design using Adobe’s Creative Suite of digital applications. Students will be taught current professional practices for presenting their work to, and working with publishers, marketing firms, advertising agencies, and galleries. Students will also learn best practices for promoting their careers on Social Media and through face-to-face networking.
Jeffrey Wiener is a professional artist, illustrator and designer who’s company Dangerous Media Productions specializes in developing branded digital content for its clientele for over 30 years. His illustration clients include The New York Times, Scholastic, National Geographic, and Disney and he has produced websites and interactive games for educational clients through his publishing company Young Mind Interactive. Besides winning national awards of excellence for his traditional art works, he has distinguished himself as a digital artist through his purposeful use of the iPad in his personal and commercial art careers.
